Tricounty REC's 2022 election is now closed! All members received a ballot via mail and were able to vote using that mail form or online. Ballots must have been postmarked or submitted online no later than Aug. 31, 2022.
All members voted for (1) candidate in EACH district (District 2 and District 3).

District 2
David Clapp and his wife, Colleen, live in Liberty Township, Henry County and are the parents of six children and ten grandchildren. David ran his own plumbing business for 27 years and is currently employed with the Toledo Public Schools maintenance department. He graduated from Liberty Center High School, attended Bowling Green State University, and holds an Ohio license in plumbing, HVAC, and hydronics. He also has a city of Toledo Journeyman license. David has been active in the Liberty Township Zoning board for 30 years and currently serves as president. He enjoys maintaining his pond and fruit trees and playing golf as much as possible. David currently serves as trustee for District II and is eligible for reelection. |

David Fisher and his wife, Janice, live in Liberty Township, Henry County. They have 7 children and 24 grandchildren. David graduated from Liberty Center High School and Macomber vocational school for tool and die. He is a retired tool and die maker and now owns and operates his own dump truck and backhoe business and does electrical installations. David is a member of Neapolis Church of Christ and a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. |
District 3
Doug Mangas and his wife, Denise, live in Van Buren Township, Putnam County, and are the parents of 3 children. Doug farms and operates a backhoe business. He is currently serving as Van Buren Township trustee and has for the past 5 years, is currently a Legacy Farmers board member for the past 8 years, and Deshler Farmers Co-op member for 6 years. Doug is a Putnam County CIC board member and is active in the Leipsic Education Foundation. He enjoys spending time with family and enjoyed attending his children’s sporting events. |

Len Meyer lives in Liberty Township, Putnam County. Len graduated from Leipsic High School and Ohio State University and completed an apprenticeship with the IBEW Electrical Union with electric code classes. He is a retired electrician through Local 32 and Local 8, spent 12 years as a State of Ohio electrical inspector, and is a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Len is an usher at his church, a pilot, and enjoys flying, riding his Harley Davidson, and helping the less fortunate. |

Dan Schroeder and his wife, Nancy, live in Liberty Township, Putnam County, and are the parents of 7 children and 16 grandchildren. Dan is retired from Northwest Tractor Co. and semi-retired from the family farming operation. He is a Leipsic St. Mary church steering committee member for the New Parish Life Center, served on the Leipsic school board for 8 years, was president when school levy passed, and served on the finance and building committees. Dan is a member of Leipsic Eagles, Ottawa K of C, past board member of the Putnam County Farm Bureau, and was the first manager and helped start both the Gilboa elevator and Northwestern Ohio Grain Co. He enjoys spending time with family |
