You have an opportunity to give back and serve your community by running for a seat on the Board of Trustees. This may be your chance to help set Tricounty Rural Electric Cooperative's policies, direction, and strategic focus. For this year's elections, petitions may be filed by members residing in Districts 2 and 3.
To serve as a cooperative trustee, a candidate must be a member of the cooperative, living in and receiving electric service from the cooperative, in the district of the cooperative which they are to represent. In the case of a joint membership, either spouse is eligible to be a candidate for trustee.
Any member residing in a district up for election and meeting the qualifications may become a candidate by obtaining a petition form from the cooperative's office and obtaining at least 20 valid signatures from current Tricounty members.
Districts 2 and 3 include:
- District 2 - Washington and Liberty Townships, Henry County Ohio.
- District 3 - Pleasant, Napoleon, Flatrock, and Marion Townships, Henry County, Ohio and Liberty and Van Buren Townships, Putnam County, Ohio.
Candidates must complete and return the official petition packet to the cooperative's office located at 8945 County Road K2, Malinta, Ohio, by June 1, 2026, at 4 p.m.
